Emergency First Responder (EFR) training teaches you what to do in the critical moments between when a life-threatening emergency occurs and when emergency medical services arrive. Learn CPR, provide first aid & practice bandaging and splinting.

The PADI EFR course is designed to provide the student with the same emergency-aid techniques used by paramedics and doctors, but at a layman’s level. The course covers CPR, first aid, and primary and secondary evaluations.

Prerequisites
This course is open to all divers and non-divers.

Class Description
Classroom sessions will cover:
- Primary Assessment
- On-Rescuer CPR
- Obstructed Airway
- Control of Bleeding
- Shock Management
- Illness Assessment
- Injury Assessment
Equipment Requirements:
- PADI EFR Manual
Before Class:
- Students should read and answer the questions in the PADI EFR Manual before the first class meeting.
